Dear Rose,
As the 4th anniversary of September 11th approaches, I am
reminded of the initial liaison with Healing Hands in September of 2001, as
well as the great fortune of our continued liaison to the present time.
The members of this downtown community, affected by loss on multiple levels
from this terrible event, have benefited greatly from this holistic
modality. These services continue to integrate beautifully within the
Integrative Stress Management Program, which began in response to the magnitude
of emotional trauma endured by so many from the events of that day.
As we have moved forward in time since the 9/11 event, I am well aware of the
benefit of Healing Hands in this outpatient hospital setting. Naturally,
hospital outpatients experiencing stress associated with their medical problems
also attend this clinic. They, too, are benefiting from a reduction in
stress levels, and a greater sense of calm, along with the release of blocked
energy patterns that results from this Ho Chi modality. I remain thrilled
in continuing to have your support and assistance in keeping these vital
services accessible to all the people who need them. And of course, I
look forward to our continued partnership in providing integrative health
practices to the people we treat.
Respectfully,
Joan Siobhan Dolan, RNC, ADS
